Gummies are quickly emerging as the dosage form of choice for many food supplements and even pharmaceutical applications. The new gummy line will be launched by the end of 2024 with a capacity of approximately 1 billion gummies per year.

The global gummy supplements market has reached a value of over $ 9 billion in 2023 and is expected to grow to $ 18.2 billion by 2033. The surge in demand for gummies (chewable gels) is driven by a number of benefits related to convenience, indulgence, and efficacy.

Aenova's new gummy line addresses this market with a complete, state-of-the-art production area for gummies, including bottle packaging, which has been developed with an investment of approximately € 8 million. The manufacturing process is starchless and offers food and pharmaceutical grade (GMP) production for gelatin and pectin formulations with halal, kosher, and vegan options available. Format settings can be tailored to suit a range of sizes and shapes. The new line, with a capacity of approximately one billion gummies per year, is scheduled to go live at the end of 2024.
