It's been a long time since there was so much going on at our manufacturing sites in Kirchberg and Sisseln, Switzerland: both sites were buzzing like a beehive, so many interested young students had registered for the National Future Day in Switzerland on November 10.

And there was a lot on offer: there were experiments, welding, milling, guided tours of the laboratories, production and the high-bay warehouse. Many questions were asked and these were answered in detail and vividly, e.g. on the topics of hygiene and cleanliness in pharmaceutical production, on apprenticeships in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, and much more.

The young people and their curiosity about what we do at Aenova, what perspectives there are in professional life and above all: how to give a change of perspective on the classic girl and boy roles in career choice were the focus of the day.

At the end of the day, the unanimous feedback was: this open day was a great opportunity to look behind the scenes of one of the world's leading pharmaceutical contract manufacturers.
